AOK Creative are planning an incentive travel trip to Barcelona for one of our brilliant clients Here’s what’s planned…
Barcelona lends itself to MICE travel due to a vast array of connecting flights, short transfers from the airport, fantastic climate and a plethora of boutique, conference & leisure hotels. This European city just keeps on giving!
Our client is bringing together all of their partners from across the world for 2-day conference and gala dinner for them to recap on their past 18 months, come together and meet new partners. Barcelona was the top of their list and we are thrilled to be involved!
Here's what we've planned for the two day trip
Conference & Tapas
A smaller new partners conference (30 partners) is to take place in the afternoon. Then we will be taking the group on an exciting bespoke tapas tour in central Barcelona for some evening wine tasting and tapas tasting.
350 partners will all fly into Barcelona staying at the Fairmont Rey Juan Carlos I with transfers organised by AOK Events from the airport.
We will have a welcome meeting lunch on arrival followed by an afternoon meeting. Then we will have an evening BBQ around the gorgeous outside pool at the hotel. This is a relaxed evening with a DJ playing chill out music. We will also have garden games in place with some delicious Sangria to wash those burgers down.
This is taking place at the stunning Castel de Sant Marcal, situated in Sant Cugat which is only 30 minutes from the centre of Barcelona.
We are having the welcome drinks on the gardens with views over the castle with a Catalonian band and cocktail piano bar.
Then we will have a 3 course seated dinner inside the castle, allowing partners to stay for some after dinner cocktails before returning back to the hotel.
All partners to leave throughout the day with a few morning meetings. AOK Events will be looking after all of the return transfers back to the airport this day.
We’re so excited to see this event take place in such a stunning backdrop. With so much to see and do, incredible weather and amazing food, Barcelona really does live up to its reputation.
